ABOUT US
At the Buck, we aim to end the threat of age-related diseases for this and future generations by bringing together the most capable and passionate scientists from a broad range of disciplines to understand and improve the way in which we age. We are an independent, non-profit institution in Marin County, CA, with the goal of increasing human health span, or the healthy years of life.

The Buck Institute is globally recognized as the pioneer and leader in an effort to target aging, including foundational contributions to the biology of cellular senescence led by former faculty Dr. Judith Campisi, whose work transformed the field and opened new possibilities for therapeutic approaches to aging. This faculty position honors her profound impact on aging science and is intended to support the next generation of leaders in senescence research.

We are an equal opportunity employer and strive to create an atmosphere where diversity of identity, experience, and background is welcomed, valued, and supported. Candidates who contribute to this diversity are strongly encouraged to apply.
